I hail from Konnagar, West Bengal, presently live in Juhu, Mumbai. As at present do stage shows in social and religious occasions. Attached to the eminent theatre group, “ESSAY COMMUNICATIONS” of Salim Arif and his wife Lubna salim, mainly as an actor singer. In this capacity, performed in Pritvi theatre, Juhu; National centre of performing arts, Mumbai;and also with other theatre group in National school of Drama, New Delhi. I am really proud that through the above institutes, I performed to the elites of Mumbai several times, under the shadow of Gulzar saab. Lend voice to jingles for advertisement made in Mumbai for within the country, and for Indian businesses outside the country. Also regularly sing for Hindi version songs of original Kannad/ Malayalam/Tamil dubbed films. Samples are given in the website for you. Academically, I was educated in central school, and then in ‘Footwear Design and Development institute, Noida’ an institute of world repute, under Ministry of Commerce , GOI, but pull of music was so overwhelming that ultimately I plunged into music as a profession dedicating my 100% to it. I listened to my inner voice much before ‘ 3 idiots’ was made. Singing was introduced to me at home by my mother during school days, and then coming out of town, I learnt vocal in ‘Gandharwa Mahavidyalaya, New Delhi. Coming to Mumbai, first Guru, was Sri Sunjoy Bose. He is an upcoming music director, completed two films, which are calculating auspicious time for release. Present Guru is Sri Gautam Mukherjee, son-in-law of the legendary Hemant Kumar. Sri Gautam Mukherjee already produced many present day singers ruling Mumbai today. I am placing two songs in two categories in my voice for my introduction. The first is a song sung by me for the Hindi version film of an original telegu film. The second is a ‘scratch’ in my voice for the final singer, for a film which is in the process of making. Honestly, I am waiting for the right break to reach out to the the wider audience, until then I can not claim that I have achieved the desired level of success.
