Contact Now| Dr. Swapnil Verma is a professional light classical singer with specialization in Thumri and Dadra. Her initial music education had been under Smt. Poonam Saxena - eminent vocalist of Gwalior Gharana. Thereafter she learnt Purab Ang Gayaki from Pt. Brijbhushanji of Banaras Gharana , Keyboard from Smt. Nalini Sukh - Sr. AIR artist and Sound Engineering & Music Composition from Shri K. P Tanu. Presently she is learning Purab Ang Gayaki from World famous Thumri singer Vidushi Savita Devi. For the last 15 years, she has been performing at a number of Sangeet Samaroh organized by the States and private music organizations including Hindon Mahotsava, Akhil Bhartiya Sanskrit Sangeet Sammelan and Various Bhajan Sandhyas. She has been acclaimed as a versatile and gifted singer of several disciplines including Sufi Sangeet & Lok Sangeet for which she has been rewarded as the best singer of Ghaziabad district by the State of U.P. She has been awarded Research Fellowship by Ministry of Culture , GOI in 2007. She is included in the panel of Judges of various music organizations. She has composed music for five short and animation films exhibited internationally. She performed Purab Ang Gayaki at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi in a National forum in which she was honoured as “Sangeet Ratna”. she performed for SPICMACAY in New Delhi alongwith Vidushi Savita Deviji.
