|A prime disciple of internationally renowned Sitar maestro “Padmabhushan” Pandit Debu Chaudhuri, Neel Ranjan Mukherjee is the one and only performer playing Indian classical music on the traditional Hawaiian guitar, playing with seven main strings & four octaves without adding any extra strings like sympathetic or drone in it which is a rare phenomenon. His natural sense of music and melody of the Raagas and limitless guidance of his guru made him the finest musician of the present era. Being trained under the strict discipline of Senia gharana, Neel is a traditionalist but his style of presentation illustrates his own brilliance and always leaves an impression to the audiences heart which shows his mastery and individuality. His tuneful sparkling fingers depicts both in Tantakari (instrumental) & Gayaki (vocal) style. Apart from his excellence in performances Neel Ranjan has successfully trained number of students on Hawaiian guitar, Santoor and Vocal across the country those are performing successfully in India and abroad.
