I sing & compose devotional; folk; gazals; nursery & other songs in Hindi & Marathi. I accompany harmonium in classical & other music. I sing occasionally in orchestras. I enjoy hearing Asha & Gulam Ali Gazals. Music - A Wonderful World to be with.
Contact Now| I am from a family with Musical background. My grandfather Late Shri Dattatray Khire was a disciple of Pt. Mirashi Buva (Pune) and my elder sister Dr. Rasika Ekbote got initial lessons from him. She also got her doctorate under guidance of Dr. Vikas Kashalkar (Classical Vocalist – Pune). My childhood went in such a wonderful background. My interest was in singing light music; semi classical; folk and other types of music under guidance of Late Shri Vijay Karandikar (Daji Karandikar) and Dr. Vikas Kashalkar. I sing occasionally in several orchestras. I have interest in composing music. My mother is a writer and a poetess. Therefore I had an opportunity to compose many devotional; folk; traditional and nursery songs. I have composed few nursery songs for Bal-Chitrawani (Pune) – Educational Channel. I had an opportunity for participating in singing for a ballet composed and organized by Dr. Vikas Kashalkar and Pt. Nandkishor Kapote – Katthak Dancer, on Life of Mahavir’ and ‘Neminath’ – Jain Gurus. My evenings and weekends are totally utilized for my music practice. It is a good stress buster and a mood-maker too, which makes me more energetic. Music is a divine world which makes me realize and feel the unknown power of the almighty and blesses me as well.
