Balram Chand Born and brought up in the musical environs of Orissa , is an accomplished violin player and a leading player among the young generation of musicians today. He initially begun his training in 1982 at the age of ten under the encouraging guidance of one of the renowned Violin players of Orissa – Guru-Bipinbihari Das, Prof-Sunilshing Mohanta, later continued training Prof- Late Mohamed Hamid Ahead, (A-grade artist A.I.R.), for 7 years and successfully completed M.A. in Hindustani Violin (North Indian Style) from Utkal University,Orissa in the year 1998, then finally moved for further technical tutelage under Ganesh / Kumresh (A-grade artist A.I.R) and Lalgudi Rajalaxmi (A-grade artist A.I..R). Balaram has performed at various music festivals , all over India and Abroad in different kind of musical concerts as a solo and with accompany.
