Bappadeep was born on 10th December, 1985 in the City of Joy, Kolkata. Bappadeep was seen on stage for the very first time at the age of eighteen with his brother-in-law to sing Kumar Sanu’s popular song "Priyotama Mone Rekho" . From then onwards, he accompanied his brother-in-law in a number of musical shows.
Bappadeep had taken music very seriously since he had entered into this musical world. A major breakthrough in Bappadeep’s career was to participate in the singing talent hunt SA RE GA MA PA on Zee TV in the year 2005. Here he was selected and highly appreciated by Santanu Maitro in the Audition in Kolkata. In Mumbai he was found singing in Himesh Reshamiya’s Gharana. The show brought him into the limelight and exposed him to all his audiences, many of whom in no time turned into his fan. In addition to that, he also took part in another singing talent hunt INDIAN IDOL on Sony TV in the year 2008.
Performance and Bappadeep are words which go hand in hand. His performance and stage presence has been found gradually improving with each of his shows. Bappadeep has performed not only in Kolkata but also in Assam, Mumbai, Delhi, Assansol, Durgapur and many more places. He not only performs Live with his band but also has the ability to glamorize a show only with the help of musical tracks. His shows are no less beautiful and dazzling than any other star singers of today. |
