A traditional flute player,born in Najibabad,Saubhagya has made a deep impact with his extra ordinary touch of mountain melody and Indian Classical music.He started learning from his father Pandit Sunder Lal Gandharv ji Slowly time took him in Delhi for his profession .After settling in Delhi he started learning from Pandit Ajay Prasanna. Many collaboration with American native musicians has placed him in the top rung amongst the world music artists.His command over the western melody and different genres of music has enriched his playing style. Not bound by any particular form of music or technique Saubhagya loves the free and fluid music. Some of the major performances are as below :-
1. Performed and won Gold in Himachal Pradesh Open youth festival ,Shimla , Hamirpur , Udaipur.
2. Performed In WORLD FOOD FESTIVAL, VIETNAM Organized by I.C.C.R and
Government of VIETNAM.
3. Performed In Subah Savere , DD-1 , DD Bharti , Mahua TV.
4. Performed In Indo Japan Festival With Japanese artists.
5. Performed In NEPAL with Jila Khan ji Organized by I.C.C.R and
Government of NEPAL.
6. Performed In TEL AVIVE , JERUSALEM ( ISRAEL ) .Pt. Hari Prasad Chaurasia ji
was also performing under the same banner. |
