|Swaranjali , a non-profit institution registered by Govt. of Delhi in 2003, named "Swaranjali" started in 2000 with a mission to bring to the fundamentals of Indian vocal music to those who would benefit most from classical music training – the young. Based in Delhi, India, it caters to the needs of students by providing a platform to the upcoming artists of India.
Swaranjali is proud to offer a holistic approach to the teaching of music to young people, with a unique process that includes guidance on public performance. Swaranjali offers music appreciation courses to the students in order to create discerning listeners and spread awareness of the subtleties of the art. Every year Swaranjali organizes Festivals as well as "Baithak" (evening of house concerts) to promote the upcoming talents, young artists as well as renowned artists from all over India.
Swaranjali Is a collective of classical Indian music students with the goal to get students of various disciplines and styles together to exchange knowledge and ideas about our music. Swaranjali organizes concerts for students many times a year to create a space for the amazingly talented students to perform. In addition to create an intimate environment for an audience who wants to listen to classical music?
Indian musicians must be given a platform to perform their divine talents and there must be genuine support for them from the society. Indian musicians on the other hand must be able to define their art to their audience in a contemporary manner rather than upholding the traditional style of presentation. Moreover there is nothing beyond common man's perception in Indian classical music. The power of music is Universal and each of us has the right and liability to preserve this unbroken musical tradition, which led Swaranjali to have many concerts like - Samay Chakra', Sufiana Evening', Shraddhanjali',Shaam -e Mausiki',Samagam',Sur-Sandhya', Sur-Taal', Murchhana and Ozone Pratibha Manch.
Specially the Gharana festival, NRI Music & Dance festival every year.
Swaranjali has organized many concerts of Indian Classical Music and Dance in various cities in India like Delhi NCR, KOLKATA, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh , Mumbai, etc with the support of Dept. of Culture, Sahitya Kala Parisad, Sangeet Natak Akademi, ICCR, Habitat World, Epi Centre, Ozone Group, etc.
